The youth ministry of VVUMC is a place where youth (grades 6-12) can have fun and grow in Christian love and commitment. The youth ministry of VVUMC is a place where youth can have fun and grow in Christian love and commitment.

VVUMC has numerous activities and events where youth a can learn, grow, strengthen their faith and make friends. We have activities on Sunday morning, as well as trips, retreats and camps.

Sunday School classes are on Sunday morning at 10:30, as well as trips, retreats and camps. Our youth gather each week to be a part of this very special program. Committed adults and parents give their time and talents to lead and guide our young people.

The Director of our Youth Program is Yolanda Comford. She and our other adult leaders provide leadership and guidance through the planned activities and service projects, as well as by iving Christian values in their own lives.

The VVUMC UMYF is a program designed to guide young people into praising God in fellowship, Bible study, and Christian activities.

UMYF members learn about God and Christ through Chrysallis and other programs. We are active in the community through the county fair where 10% of the profits from the food booth go directly to the church. Social activities include dances and Christian concerts.
